Hey everyone, Hiracchi here!
Thankfully, everyone's been so busy with work lately that we actually skipped year-end deep cleaning last year.
Cleaning things like the fridge or microwave is pretty tough to get to unless you set aside dedicated time for deep cleaning, right?
But! We still want to do our best with daily cleaning...
So! We got ourselves a robot vacuum!
roborock !!!!
So here are my thoughts after using it for about two months since buying it! (Sounds like an affiliate site, doesn't it!)
Most robot vacuums these days come with app support and mopping features.
To be honest, while we were discussing which one to buy, I didn't think there'd be much difference between manufacturers.
I mean, it's hard to tell which one has better functionality anyway.
So, the president chose and ordered the roborock.
For the initial setup, you connect it to Wi-Fi to pair it with the app.
The voice guidance sounded a bit like Chinese-style Japanese, which made me go "huh?", but the functionality seems pretty good! I actually have a robot vacuum from a different brand at home, but the roborock app is much easier to use~
When you press the start button on the main unit, the roborock cleans while mapping the room, so you can check where it cleaned and where obstacles are right in the app!
You can also control it remotely from the app, which is super convenient—like sending it back to the charging dock when you realize a meeting is about to start.
At the Ribe office, it takes about 120 minutes to clean a 60 m² area.
The noise level depends on the suction power mode, but it's okay while running. It's not crazy loud, but not quiet either (lol). I don't really mind it unless we're in a meeting.
Here's what the app screen looks like!
As you can see, it cleans thoroughly everywhere!
The robot vacuum I have at home just wanders around randomly and returns after a sloppy job. Maybe it's the price difference....
The red frame marks a no-cleaning zone so it doesn't get caught on the doorstop at the entrance and prevent the door from closing.
On the flip side, you can also tell it to clean a specific spot extra thoroughly!
It's super handy that app notifications let you know when it's time for maintenance, too~~!
However, the dustbin at the charging dock uses paper bags, so they need to be replaced periodically. The downside is that it's a bit hard to tell how full it is or when exactly to change it.
On rare occasions, it gets tangled in cables and starts rattling, so you have to rescue it, but basically, as long as you let it run, the office floor stays sparkling clean✨
It even cleans under the sofas and desks, which I'm really grateful for!
Everyone should get one for their office! Highly recommend!!!
