An Encouragement of Telework

Yoo-hoo, everyone! How many months has it been? It's been way too long! It's Oga-neki here~☆
Is everyone still alive?? How've you all been holding up???

To be honest, since I went fully remote, I've completely run out of company stories to share.
To tell you the truth, my past blog posts were mostly written by squeezing every last drop of my past memories and imagination LOL
Though when it came to painting the office walls and turning the place into a jungle, the boss literally dragged me in, so I had no choice but to go to the office and work on it. Classic up-and-coming autocratic boss, am I right?!
...Wait, was that before I started teleworking? Ah well, it was fun, so who cares either way!☆
My commute would take 4 hours one way now, so don't you dare call me in so casually! Seriously, DO NOT call me in!!!

Since I'm out of office stories, I guess I'll talk about teleworking instead.

So yeah, like the title says.
That said, I don't really have any specific topic in mind, so for now I'll just introduce the plants in my room!☆

First up, this little guy!

Ficus Tineke

It's a variegated rubber plant, but this one gets leaf sunburn super easily, so handle with care!
Since bringing it home from Da*so, 3 new leaves grew, but 3 leaves dropped due to sunburn.
There's one more leaf that got hit, but I don't want to cut it off, so I just left it alone.

Ficus Burgundy

It's about 50 cm tall and doesn't fit in the frame nicely, so I'll just take the picture looking down on it.
It's actually supposed to be a much darker color, but I was so worried about sunburn this summer that it didn't get enough sunlight, and the leaves turned green! I wonder if it'll change back...
A new leaf popped up a week ago and it's super cute!

Pothos

The classic houseplant!☆
When I first brought it home, it looked a lot neater, but after misting the leaves like crazy, it just kept growing and growing!

Pilea peperomioides

This guy's name sounds like a magic spell LOL
Don't trip over your tongue trying to chant it, okay?
For those of you who already bit your tongue, just remember it as 'aka: Pancake Plant' with your mouth full of blood!
By the way, aren't these round leaves super cute??
I fell in love at first sight and brought it home, but now it keeps sprouting pups and propagation has become a total nightmare!☆
Someone please take these plant babies off my hands!

Air Plants (Tillandsia)

Got this one cheap on clearance.
Supposedly, it likes getting misted once in a while at night.
I popped it into an ochoko sake cup I had at home, whipped up a rough hanger out of embroidery thread, hung it up, and—voila!—it looks surprisingly stylish!☆

I have plenty of others, but that's all for today!

You definitely need plants in your workspace!
Fake office plants () are fine and all, but the real thrill of real greenery lies in actually taking care of them.
Plus, just looking at them is so soothing~☆
(Huh? You say the pots don't match? Who cares about that!)

When new shoots come up, it makes me think, 'Man, these guys are working hard to live too...' (Sigh... guess I'll get back to work... ≖ω≖).
And when you mess up at work, getting up to mist the leaves makes for a great little reality escape!☆

You guys should totally get some houseplants too!
Let's mist those leaves till they're dripping wet and crush it today!☆
