Yaho~☆ It's Oga-neki, Libero's resident DIY expert🎵 The other day, I heard the story of how we redid the floors from Gramps Libero, who knows everything about Libero. I'm gonna call Gramps Libero over right now, so let's all listen together☆ Gramps Libero~!

Ohoho, Oga-neki dear, what a wonderful introduction. Well, about that floor re-tiling... would you mind listening to a little nostalgic story of mine?

Of course, Gramps Libero! Is it really true that the staff replaced the floors themselves when Libero moved to this office?
Gramps Libero
Mhm, that's right. Truth be told, before moving to our current office, we were in a classic old-fashioned office where you could even see Tokyo Tower. But that place got a bit run-down, so we decided to move to a new location.

And that's why you redid the floors! What was that like?
Gramps Libero
Well first, before the move, we created a blueprint tailored to the floor dimensions using Illustrator. Then, keeping the wiring in mind, we ran power and Ethernet cables through the holes in the OA floor. But those raised floor panels are heavy, so running wires underneath them was quite a chore.

Hmm, sounds tough! What happened after that?

We picked flooring tiles designed to adhere directly onto the OA floor. They were easy to cut and looked great once laid down. Cutting them to fit around door frames and hardware was a bit tricky, though.

I see! But how was it when the office opened?
Gramps Libero
Oh, on opening day, the hard-working staff who laid the floor were happily playing around on it! Even the CEO, who was completely exhausted from all the heavy labor, looked relieved once the floors were finally finished. After that, we received congratulatory flowers from friendly partner companies and got off to a splendid start.
