So this happened a little while ago, and it was so much fun♪
Out of nowhere, the president announced we were turning our office wall into a chalkboard! At first I was like "Huh?", but it turned out to be an absolute blast!
First off, let me introduce the materials we used!
First was the primer. We used this to prep the surface.
Without it, the chalkboard paint wouldn't stick properly to the wall and would end up uneven or wrinkled, so applying this prevents all that!
It contains organic solvents, so you can trip out while working, etc. etc.
Next up, chalkboard paint!
This was the main event, and we painted away with all our heart to make it look super cool♪
We applied the paint using a foam roller☆ That helped us get a clean finish right down to the tiny details~☆
To be honest, I was a bit reluctant at first.
I mean, it felt like such a hassle, and I was wondering how a chalkboard wall would even turn out.
But once we actually got to work, it was surprisingly fun~♪
Starting with masking off the area alongside the staff who helped out, prepping the base, and finally applying the chalkboard paint—it just kept getting more and more exciting!
As we worked together as a team, before I knew it, I was totally hooked.
That initial heavy feeling completely blew away~.
In the end, we had an awesome time, and we finished a super stylish chalkboard wall!
